Getting started with the API

We have a REST API at /api/v1 for developers who want to build tools around New Biz Launches. You'll find the full technical details in the OpenAPI 3.1 description at /api/v1/openapi.json, and our developer docs are at /developers.

Connecting an AI assistant

If you use Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible AI, you can connect it to our remote MCP server at /mcp. Your assistant can then search launches, read listings and—with your say-so—help you write and manage your own listings directly.

Signing in

When you connect an assistant, it will open a sign-in page here on New Biz Launches using OAuth. If you'd rather use a personal API key instead, grab one from /account/developers. Keys are shown just once, so keep it safe; we only store a hash of it.

What you need to know

Rate limits and daily quotas apply to all API use. When you need to pay, the API gives you a checkout link—payments always happen on this site. One thing to note: you cannot vote on launches through the API.
