It reads MOT information from the DVSA MOT History service and vehicle tax information from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service, keeping those dates visible and sending reminders before they matter.
The app stores your service history, costs, documents and notes on your device. It combines official MOT and tax dates, timely reminders, nearby fuel prices and private vehicle records in one straightforward interface. There is no account to create, no advertising profile and no data selling.

Where do the MOT and tax dates come from?
Motorbook reads MOT dates and history from the DVSA MOT History service and tax status and due dates from the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service.
