Still Standing
Free playoff survivor pools you customize and run
A free platform for running NFL and college football playoff survivor pools with customizable rules, automated scoring, and drafted recaps.
About the business

Still Standing lets commissioners create and run free survivor pools for NFL and college football playoffs. Players pick one team per round across four rounds, with the goal of staying alive longer than others in the pool. The platform handles all the mechanics: tracking picks, displaying live scores, sending reminders, and automatically drafting a weekly recap from league results and game coverage that the commissioner reviews and sends to players. Commissioners set their own rules for the pool, choosing from options like team reuse, extra lives, two-pick first rounds, and pick insurance. The platform includes a live Board showing all picks after the lock, a Planner with win odds for each team, rule clarifications players confirm, and features built directly from commissioner feedback. Still Standing never takes money from pools and runs without ads.

What does the free version cover?
Playoff survivor pools are free through February 2027. This covers both Pro Football Playoff and College Football Playoff pools. Each commissioner can run one Pro Football Playoff and one College Playoff league. It does not cover full-season pools, the 2027–28 season, or new kinds of pools like golf.
How does the recap feature work?
After each round, Still Standing automatically drafts a recap from your league's results and outside game coverage, with links to the sources. You review it, add a line of your own, and send it to your players.
When do college and NFL playoff picks open?
College playoff picks open in December, and NFL playoff picks open in January.
Does Still Standing take any money from the pool?
No, Still Standing never touches money from pools. Players manage the pot themselves.
