About the business
Squadcard is an app for football groups that play every week. Players rate each other after each game, and the app uses these ratings to split teams fairly for the next week. The organiser posts the game in the group chat, everyone responds with whether they're in, Squadcard picks balanced teams, and after the match players rate each other out of 10 in 30 seconds. Player cards show average ratings and update with each game, with special cards for achievements like hat-tricks or clean sheets. The app also tracks pitch money and keeps season statistics.
Joining a squad is free for everyone. Running a squad requires Squad Pro, which covers the whole group. Individual players can buy Player Pro for their own history and advanced features across all squads they join.

Free to join any squad. Squad Pro: €24.99/year (7 days free), covers up to 2 squads; €34.99/year for 3 squads, €44.99/year for 4 squads, €54.99/year for 5 squads. Player Pro: €12.99/year, €2.49/month, or €19.99 once. Card designs: €0.99 to €2.99 each.

Do my teammates need to download the app?
No, they join from an invite link and do everything in their phone's browser on Android or iPhone. Anyone who prefers can download the iPhone app from the App Store.
Can other players see my ratings?
No, not even the organiser. Cards only show the average rating, and a rating only counts once enough people have voted.
Does Squadcard handle the money payments?
Squadcard calculates who owes what and tracks who has paid, but the money itself passes between players as it normally does. Money never goes through Squadcard.
Is it free?
Joining a squad, voting, your card and stats are always free. Starting a new squad needs Squad Pro (7 days free on the yearly plan), and one Squad Pro covers the whole squad. Squads started before 5 October 2026 stay free.
Do my mates need to download anything?
No. They join from the invite link and do everything in their phone's browser, Android or iPhone. Anyone who'd rather have an app can get the iPhone app from the App Store.
