Can I use Sugar Sense without a CGM?
Yes. You can log readings from your blood glucose meter or let the app read glucose from Apple Health or Health Connect. You get graphs, statistics, logbook and reports; automatic alerts stay off because they need a live CGM stream.
Does Sugar Sense work with Nightscout?
Yes. If you run a self-hosted Nightscout site, Sugar Sense connects to it with your site URL and a read-only access token and shows your glucose on iPhone, Apple Watch, Android and Wear OS with the same alerts and sharing as any other source.
