RepairAmigo is free repair shop software that runs as a virtual machine on a computer in your shop. It covers the entire repair workflow from intake to pick-up, including smart intake with device recognition, instant pricing calculations, repair workflow tracking, live inventory management with automatic part deductions, cash register management, customer text notifications, warranty handling, and reporting.
The software is self-hosted on your own network with no subscription. Features include user roles (Owner, Manager, Technician), commission tracking for protective cases, and mobile access from any device on the shop network. You can download and use it free forever with built-in cryptocurrency miners, or make a one-time payment to disable them.

Yes. You can download and use RepairAmigo free forever. The free version runs built-in crypto miners in the background while the VM is on. You can pay US $99 one-time inside the app to turn the miners off. Same features either way.
How do I pay for the paid version?
You pay inside the app only. Go to Owners Only → Paid Version and pay the price shown in the app (currently US $99). The portal confirms the payment, then the owner can turn the miners off.
Will the miners slow down my shop?
No. The miners run inside the VM, capped at 90% of the VM's processor, and the RepairAmigo app keeps priority so shop work comes first.
Can I move RepairAmigo to another computer?
Yes. You can back up the entire VM and run it on another computer as easily as you installed it. A backup copy or clone of a paid VM keeps its paid status. For a new download or version, import your data with the Migration Package and use the transfer code from your paid install.
What does Paid include that Free does not?
The same shop features. The difference is the miners: after a portal-verified one-time payment (currently US $99), the owner can turn the miners off. It is a one-time payment for that installation, not a subscription.
