How should I start my first week with mouth tape or nasal strips?
Treat the first few uses as fit checks, not a performance test. Start with clean, dry skin and follow the instructions in the pack. If trying mouth tape, first make sure you can breathe freely and comfortably through your nose. Stop immediately if you feel anxious, uncomfortable or unable to breathe normally.
What wavelengths do the MARS panels use?
The MARS 400 uses two wavelengths: 660 and 850 nm. The MARS 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 2000 use nine wavelengths: 480, 590, 630, 660, 670, 810, 830, 850 and 1060 nm.
Can I use nasal strips and mouth tape together?
Some people use both in one bedtime routine. Apply the external nasal strip first and check that nasal breathing feels clear and comfortable. Only then consider mouth tape, and only if you can already breathe freely through your nose. Do not use mouth tape when congested or unwell.
What is the return policy?
Resty® products come with a 60 day commercial trial. Customers have 60 days from delivery to reasonably try their purchase, including after opening, to request a return. Return postage is normally at customer expense.
How does nasal breathing differ from mouth breathing?
The nose filters, warms and humidifies the air on its way in, which is why many people find nasal breathing more comfortable during rest and sleep. Mouth breathing often goes together with a dry mouth or a restless night, though the cause differs from person to person.
