About the business
Yoink is a playful, social screen-time game designed to help you reduce phone usage through gamification and social accountability. Your squad shares a shared pool of screen-time minutes that you can spend to unlock apps you've blocked, and earn minutes back by completing real-world actions like walking, workouts, and push-ups.
The app uses Screen Time to lock your chosen apps, Health & Motion to count steps for earning, and location-based verification where available. Members can chat within squads, report or block other members, and manage their subscriptions through iOS Settings.
Yoink is operated by Devesh Duptala from New Zealand and is available on Apple devices.

Why does Yoink need Screen Time, Health, Location and Camera permissions?
Screen Time is used to lock and unlock your chosen apps. Health & Motion counts your steps for earning minutes. Location confirms you're at a spot for location-based earning where available. Camera verifies certain earning actions like going outside, with images processed on your device and never uploaded.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings, go to [your name] > Subscriptions > Yoink, then change or cancel. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, so cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
How do I report or block someone in my squad?
Open your squad from Profile, tap the speech-bubble menu beside that member, and choose Report or Block. Reporting sends a prefilled email to support, and Blocking removes you from that squad permanently.
