About Travel, Local & Lifestyle
This is the part of New Biz Launches for places, plans and the everyday things that make a town feel lived in. Picture the bakery that opened on the corner last week, a walking-tour company with its first hand-drawn map, a pop-up supper club, or a small studio selling hand-thrown crockery for the kitchen.
Every listing here has one main category, picked when it is submitted and included free. Use the three subcategories below to narrow things down, or stay on this page to see everything together, with filters to help you search by what matters to you. Newest launches come first by default, and you can sort by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so a well-voted listing has earned its place. If you run a place of your own, it is worth choosing the category that a neighbour would look under first.

Travel, Local & Lifestyle: questions answered
- What kind of products and businesses belong in Travel, Local & Lifestyle?
- Anything that helps people get out, get about or get comfortable: trip planners and guides, shops and services on a real high street, and products for the home or daily life. If customers meet you in person or plan a day around you, you probably fit. Events now have their own category, Events & Ticketing.
- How do I choose between Local businesses and Home & lifestyle?
- Ask where the customer finds you. If they walk through your door or book a visit in your area, choose Local businesses. If you make or sell things people take home, or help them live well there, choose Home & lifestyle. Pick the one a neighbour would search first.
- How do I get my business listed in this category?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. A paid launch skips the wait, while a free listing joins a queue of about 6-8 weeks.
- Can I appear in more than one subcategory?
- Your main category is chosen at submission and costs nothing. If your business straddles areas, say a cafe that also hosts workshops, a paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, so you turn up wherever people are looking.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest listings appear first by default, so recent openings get seen. You can switch to sorting by community votes if you want to see what people have backed. Votes can never be bought, which keeps that order honest, and filters let you narrow the list further.
