Claiming your listing
When you spot your business on New Biz Launches, you can take it into your own hands. Open the listing and select "Claim", or go straight to /claim/<listing>. We'll ask you to prove you're in charge of the company's domain—this takes just a few minutes.
How to verify
Pick whichever method suits you best:
- Email: We'll send you a secret link to an address at your company domain. Click it to verify.
- DNS record: Add a TXT record to your domain's root.
- Meta tag: Pop a verification tag on your homepage.
- Verification file: Upload a small file to your website.
Your verification code lasts 14 days. If it expires before you finish, just start the claiming process again—no problem.
What happens next
Once verified, the listing is yours. You become the owner (if nobody claimed it yet), you can edit everything about it, and you'll get the Verified badge right there on your listing. That badge means you control the domain—it shows your neighbours they're looking at the real thing. The badge is yours to keep; it's never sold, and it sits completely separate from any paid placement or votes your listing gets.
