Sharing your thoughts
Once you've signed in with a confirmed email address and have your own live listing, you can write a review of another business's product. Each product can be reviewed once by you, and your review needs at least 80 characters. Hit publish and it goes live straight away—no waiting around.
The business owner will see your review and can reply publicly once to what you've said. They can edit or delete their reply later if they need to. If you've left a review, you'll get a notification the first time they respond.
Reviews of new businesses
New Biz Launches lists the in-depth Product reviews of its businesses at /reviews ("Product reviews" in the footer once one is published). Each was commissioned by the business, is labelled that way and cannot be edited by it. What neighbours and founders wrote stays on each business's own listing.
Comments and keeping things neighbourly
Anyone with a confirmed email can comment on a launch or reply to other people's comments. If something isn't right—a listing, review, reply or comment that breaks the rules—use the Report link. When 3 different people report the same review or comment, it gets hidden while our team takes a look. Reported listings are always checked by hand; they don't hide automatically.
Following and staying in the loop
Find a business you like? Use the Follow button on their listing. You'll see their news in your notices and can choose how you hear about updates at /account/notifications. Companies can post updates on their listing, and you can see them all together at /updates.
Sharing the word
Every launch has a share page with ready-made text for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, WhatsApp and email. Just copy and paste, or use the copy-link button to share a direct link.
Building influence
The more you take part—writing reviews and comments, getting votes on your own launch, and checking in day after day—the more influence you earn. It's earned only and can't be bought. A higher influence level can give your vote more weight. See your current level at /account/influence.

- Can I review a business I own?
- No. You can review other products once each, but not your own.
- What happens if I report something?
- When 3 people report a review or comment, it's hidden until checked. Listings are always checked by our team and don't hide automatically.
- How do I earn influence?
- Write reviews and comments, get votes on your launch, and sign in regularly. You can't buy influence—it's earned only.
- Can I see the Product reviews of new businesses together?
- Yes: /reviews. Community reviews are on each listing.
