How does the billboard ranking work?
The billboard is a separate paid leaderboard. Your contribution adds up, and you choose the amount in US dollars.

Your listing on the billboard
The billboard is a leaderboard of its own at /leaderboards/billboard. It ranks listings by money contributed—and the page tells visitors exactly that. This is a paid ranking, separate from the community votes that make Launch of the Week or the other leaderboards.
Adding it from your account needs a live listing. When you're ready, sign in and go to /account/listings. Find your listing, choose "Upgrades and extras" and add your contribution under Billboard. You set the amount yourself in US dollars, with a minimum of $5. Your contribution is added to anything you've already put in, so the total builds up over time.
Why it's separate
The billboard never buys a vote. It doesn't touch Launch of the Week, the community leaderboard, verification badges, Domain Rating, or any other ranking on the site. Each system is labelled so neighbours know what they're looking at. Promo codes also don't reduce what you contribute to the billboard.
Everyone who has contributed stays on the board. It's one of the leaderboards neighbours can browse—a straightforward way to show you're behind your launch.
What the link gives you
Your company name on /leaderboards/billboard links to your own website with a followed link, never nofollow. It is there for life, whatever happens to your place in the ranking. Only two things end it: a take-down of the listing for breaking the rules, or a refund of the contribution.
Questions people ask
- Can I add more money to the billboard later?
- Yes. Each new contribution adds to your total. Sign in, open /account/listings, choose "Upgrades and extras" and add more under Billboard.
- Does the billboard affect my votes or Launch of the Week?
- No. The billboard is completely separate. Your votes come from the community, and Launch of the Week is voted on. The billboard shows who has contributed money, nothing more.
- What's the minimum I can contribute?
- The minimum is $5 in US dollars.
- Does the billboard give my website a link?
- Yes. A followed link to your website, with your company name, stays on the full board for life; it is removed only for a take-down for breaking the rules, or a refund.
