About the business

Sluip is a progressive web app for cyclists and runners that calculates whether you will arrive at a café before it closes based on your actual pace, route and wind conditions. It shows which way to head out so the wind is behind you coming home, and displays cafés, bakeries, water, toilets and repair stops along your route with their opening hours.
The app works offline for recording rides and runs once the route is drawn. It tracks speed, pace, distance, elevation and splits, with all data stored on your phone in your browser. Pro features include a tailwind compass, wind direction, energy and effort estimates, route planning, alerts and CSV export.
Sluip is sold once for €24.99 with no account, no subscription, no server storing your rides, and a 14-day refund policy. It installs from your browser like a native app on iOS, Android and desktop.

Neighbours ask
Is Sluip really private?
Yes. Your rides live in your browser's own storage on the device with no account, sync, cookies or server seeing rides. Page visits are counted by self-hosted, cookieless analytics. Weather requests, map tiles and route requests leave your phone but receive no name, account or history.
Does it work offline?
Yes, for the parts that matter. GPS recording, speed, pace, distance, climb, splits and history all work in airplane mode. Four things need connection: a fresh forecast, new map tiles, downloading places for a region, and asking the router to draw a route. Once a route is drawn it rides offline with no tiles required.
Can I export my rides?
Free users can export individual rides and runs as GPX files. Pro users can export everything as a CSV spreadsheet and share route images to social media.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your rides and settings would be lost. Sluip has a backup and restore feature to export your data as a JSON file anytime and import it back if needed. Regular backups are recommended.
