BodyBench: the homepage

BodyBench is an AI fitness testing app for iPhone that assesses fitness across 10 performance dimensions using 68 metrics: cardio and metabolic, strength, power, endurance, mobility, balance, agility, neuromuscular control, body composition, and recovery as a trend, with posture screened separately. Testing takes about 10 minutes and requires mostly floor space and your phone; camera-based tests include countermovement jump, single-leg balance, FMS screens and posture, while some tests like 1RM lifts and sprints require manual entry. Each result is normalized into a single 0-100 Body Score against population norms for your age and sex to show which dimension is lowest. After testing, Coach builds a four-week training block targeting your weakest area, and you retest the exact dimension to verify whether the plan worked.

Neighbours ask

What does BodyBench measure?

BodyBench measures 68 metrics grouped into 10 dimensions: cardio and metabolic, strength, power, endurance, mobility, balance, agility, neuromuscular control, body composition, and recovery as a trend, with posture screened as an eleventh dimension. Each result is scored against population norms for your age and sex and normalized into a single 0-100 Body Score.

How long does the assessment take, and what equipment do I need?

The baseline assessment takes about 10 minutes and needs mostly floor space and your phone. Camera-based tests include countermovement jump, single-leg balance, FMS screens and posture. Some tests like 1RM lifts, a 30-meter sprint, T-test agility and drop-jump RSI require equipment or manual entry since they cannot be measured by phone alone.

How much can I trust the jump height measurement?

The app is built for tracking your own progress and trend over time rather than lab precision. It records the jump at up to 240 fps and analyzes the video afterwards, making frame rate the timing resolution. You can manually correct any jump by opening the filmstrip and picking takeoff and landing frames yourself, with theoretical accuracy near half a centimetre on a typical jump at 240 fps.

Is BodyBench free?

Testing is free forever with all 10 dimensions and no card required, plus one free Coach report. A BodyBench Coach subscription for unlimited Coach reports, periodized training plans, and meal and posture analysis costs US$3.99 per month or US$19.99 per year (shown in local currency on App Store). New subscribers currently get their first 3 months free.

Does my data leave my phone?

Your results live on your device with no account or login required. When you request an AI Coach reading, training plan, or meal or posture analysis, that request is sent to a third-party AI provider and not stored. Optionally, your data backs up to your own private iCloud (on by default, controllable in Profile & Settings) and goes directly from your phone to your Apple ID, never through BodyBench servers.
