Walkito: the homepage

Walkito is an iPhone and Android exercise app for heel pain, plantar fasciitis and flat feet. Users choose 3, 5 or 10 minute sessions on 3, 5 or 7 training days per week, and the plan adapts each day based on morning pain levels, daily steps and sleep. Each week centers on one measurable goal such as pain-free mornings, a 60-second arch hold, or stronger calf raises. Physical tests occur every 14 days initially, then every 28 days after reaching the first goal. The app asks what equipment users have available and adapts exercises accordingly. Sessions include mobility, strength and balance work, with features like morning check-ins, guided exercises with video and audio cues, and progress tracking.

Neighbours ask

What is Walkito?

Walkito is an iPhone and Android app with exercises for heel pain, plantar fasciitis and flat feet, for the first steps out of bed and long days on your feet. A plan that adjusts to how your feet feel each morning. You pick three, five or seven training days a week and sessions of 3, 5 or 10 minutes. Walkito is not a medical device, and it is not related to walkito.com, a dog-walking service.

How long until I feel a difference?

It depends on the person and the pain. The plan is built one week at a time around a goal you can measure, and a test every 14 days shows what's actually changing. In a trial of people with plantar fasciitis, those doing heavy heel raises were clearly ahead at three months, but by twelve months both groups were even.

Do I need equipment?

No, you don't need to buy anything to start Walkito. During setup, Walkito asks what you have at home: a step or stairs, a resistance band, a towel, a pillow or a massage ball. Exercises that need something you don't have are left out of your plan.

Is it for flat feet?

Yes, for flexible flat feet where the arch comes back when the foot is off the ground. If one arch flattened suddenly as an adult, see a clinician first. Exercise can measurably change flexible flat feet, with studies showing arch improvement after six weeks of dedicated training.

Is it medical advice?

No. Walkito is an exercise program. It doesn't diagnose, and it isn't a substitute for a clinician. Walkito is provided as it is and does not promise that following the program will reduce pain or produce any particular result.
