About Events & Ticketing
Every neighbourhood has someone behind the scenes making the night happen: the person who books the hall, chases the stallholders, sorts the doors and counts the tickets. This category gathers the newly opened businesses doing that work, plus the tools and services that help them do it.
You will find planners who handle a whole day from first call to last chair stacked, ticketing services that take bookings and check people in, hosts who run sessions online, and organisers behind conferences and local meetups. Some are one-person outfits working from a spare room, others are small teams with a van and a map full of pins.
Each listing sits in one main category, so a business that does a bit of everything still has a clear home here. Browse the subcategories below if you know what you need, or scan the whole page to see who has just opened near you and what they offer.

Events & Ticketing: questions answered
- What kinds of businesses belong in Events & Ticketing?
- Anything that helps an event happen: planners, ticket sellers, check-in and booking tools, online event hosts, and organisers of conferences or meetups. Venues and caterers may fit better elsewhere, unless the main thing they sell is event organising itself.
- How do I choose between the subcategories?
- Pick the one that describes what customers pay you for. If you run the whole event for clients, choose event management. If you sell access, choose ticketing. Online-only sessions go under virtual events, and gatherings you host yourself go under conferences and meetups.
- How do I get my event business listed here?
- Go to /submit and paste your website address. An AI drafts the profile from your site, then you check and edit every field before anything goes live. You choose one main category, included free, and can add more with a paid upgrade.
- Can I list in more than one subcategory?
- Your main category is included free. A paid upgrade adds up to 3 more categories for $5, which suits businesses that, say, both plan events and sell tickets.
- How are listings ordered on this page?
- Newest first by default, so recent openings appear at the top. Visitors can switch to sorting by community votes instead. Votes can never be bought, so that order reflects what people have chosen to back.
